Since last we chatted on Friday, our talented cast has continued working hard to polish the choreography that will shepherd Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella onto the Tupelo Lyric Theatre stage. As the premiere draws ever nearer – just 23 short days away – cast and crew have been swirling with excitement and bustling with activity.

Heartwarming Charm: Townsperson Costumes

Now, my sweets, grasp a sprig of lavender and waft it beneath your nose – because the sweet scent of new costumes has filled the rehearsal hall, and it is divine.

The chorus of townsfolk who bustle and chatter and gossip and dream. The enchantment of this production does not merely reside within the palace walls – the people are the beloved heart of the kingdom!

This week, a few of our cast members stepped into their village finest, and oh! What a delightful sight it was. Bonnie Baldwin appears in a lovely green dress, practical yet whimsically rustic – ideal for bustling village life. Erin Grady enchants in a striking purple dress laced with ribbons, wonderfully evoking the vibrant spirit of village festivities. Katie Gilbert’s lovely floral dress with its gentle patterns and soft apron paints a delightful picture of village charm.

A Regal Glimpse: Royal Ball Attire

For this update, three of our shimmering cast members have slipped into their Royal Ball costumes, and the effect is nothing short of breathtaking.

Our lovely Erin Grady graces us with a charming blue gown, evoking the very essence of fairy-tale elegance. Katie Gilbert adorns herself in the softest, shimmering lilac gown, radiant with gentle grace – a true vision of royal sophistication. And oh, the vibrant beauty of Marina Castilho’s teal gown, adorned with delightful pink bows and intricate ruffles, promising to capture hearts and imaginations alike.

Enchantment Awaits in The Lyric Theatre

Can you feel the magic simmering? As we flutter closer and closer to our magical premiere at the Lyric Theatre, each rehearsal becomes another sparkling step toward enchantment. The choreography becomes more refined, the costumes more dazzling, and the sets ever more magical.

Join me again soon, sweet friends, as we continue to unveil behind-the-scenes enchantment – for there is much more whimsy in store.

Ticket Sales Begin

Only nine days until ticket sales begin and twenty-three days until the premiere! Until then, keep your pumpkins polished and your dreams bright.

With starry blessings and glittering glee,
