The cast has begun running through the entire play in rehearsals as they shift into high gear and prepare for you – their audience. Behind the curtain, the platform for the royal ball is growing ever more elegant.

Even More Costumes From The Magical Wardrobe

The cast is bringing together simply splendid garments, woven from imagination, thread, and whimsy. Here are a few of the delightful outfits that I’ve seen fluttering about in the wings at rehearsal.

First, one of our delightful townsfolk, played by AJ Smoot, smiles warmly in her layered dress of midnight blues and twilight purples with a miniature barrel on her belt. Next, with the authoritative clang of boots and a lantern held aloft, a loyal knight (Kevin Steele) strides forth.

But what’s Cinderella without a dazzling royal ball? This update brings three exquisite gowns from the ladies attending the ball. Bonnie Baldwin enters wearing an emerald court gown, a vision of regal sophistication. Black satin accents cascade gracefully down its center, creating a silhouette as captivating as an evening forest.

Not far behind, Kaytee-Beth Curbow twirls onto the stage in a shimmering sea dream. This dress seemed plucked from the ocean’s depths by mermaids themselves. Completing our delightful trio, Jinx Adams emerged in a blush-pink gown. Soft as a summer cloud, this beautiful gown is adorned in delicate lace with matching gloves completing the outfit.

The Royal Ball Awaits

Costumes and sets unite as our cast stitches together full runs of both Acts I and II. The magic that is filling the rehearsal space is transformative and immersive as characters breathe, move, and dance through the entire story arc.

Don’t forget – you can view all of the cast’s costume pictures on the Costumes page. My magical assistant has also created a new Set Page, where you can check out our set pieces being built.
